THE 2012 LE DIABLE CONTEST IS ON!!
ARTIST'S CHALLENGE
* 5-10 page short manga of any theme using any characters from Le Diable. Please keep rating to at most “teen” rating.
* Pages are read right to left
* Original file size 5.5”x7.75” (cut 5”x7.5”, margin 4.5”x7”) at a minimum of 300dpi. You can send me resized pages for judging. file can be in any image type.
PRIZE:
* Your entry printed in Le Diable volume 3 (out in 2013) with credits to you.
* A framed 8”x10” colour commission mailed to you (if you are willing to give out mailing address), or
* A 8.5”x11” colour commission printable PDF emailed to you.
WRITER'S CHALLENGE
* 5-10 page manga SCRIPT of any theme using any characters from Le Diable. Please keep rating to at most “teen” rating.
* Language can be in English or Traditional Chinese (final product will be printed in English). File type can be anything that MS word can open.
PRIZE:
* Your entry will be drawn in manga-form and printed in Le Diable volume 3 (out in 2013) with credits to you as writer.
* Manga Prints of your script mailed to you (if you are willing to give out mailing address), or
* Manga version of your script in printable PDF emailed to you.
OTHER PRIZES
Depending on number of entries we may have extra prizes from either category:
* Two 4”x6” colour prints chosen from Darkness Studios Store (if you are willing to give our your mailing address), or
* One coloured chibi commission PNG emailed to you.

Mizumemachi is a quiet and peaceful town in the appearance, but once night falls, criminals lurks around the alleys and corrupted officials plan their escape routes. While on his way home after a scolding from his boss, reporter Akitsuki witnessed the appearance of a guy cloaked in black, claimed as the devil himself. Is the devil here for bad, or good?
